Join us for the MWPHA's Annual Meeting on Friday, April 2, 2010 all day at the KFF Barbara Jordan Conference Center themed "The Future of Public Health Leadership: Where Passion Meets Action" with keynote speaker:

 

Shavon Arline, MPH, Director of Health Programs at the NAACP Headquarters.


Get the skills you have been needing to be that future public health leader.

 

Plenary sessions will explore the past, present and future keys to leading a public health movement relevant to today's health reform battle.

 

Skills-based workshops will cover social enterprise, social media, grassroots organizing, policymaking, and more. At the meeting, meet and greet with other passion changemakers in public health and social services.


Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Located just 1 block from the Metro Center station in downtown Washington, DC.
